RecordFlower arose from a problem we ourselves faced for years. As Discogs sellers, we built a growing customer base, but had no channel to reach them directly. Every sale went through Discogs. Every customer relationship stayed there. And with every order, part of our margin disappeared.
Existing solutions didn't work as needed. A separate webshop meant double inventory management, manually updating prices, and the risk of selling the same item twice. For a serious seller, that's not a workable situation. That's a second job.
So we built it ourselves: a scalable webshop that synchronizes as naturally as Discogs works, but completely yours. Your inventory, your prices, your brand, your customers. Discogs remains the source. Your webshop becomes the channel.

Who we are
RecordFlower is built by two digital specialists who themselves sold on Discogs for years: a senior backend developer and a digital project manager. The first builds synchronization, infrastructure, and payment integrations. The second oversees the process, the seller perspective, and whether a feature actually works in practice.
This combination is no accident. A platform that must keep inventory, prices, and payments in real-time sync requires engineering that works. But a platform that sellers use daily also requires someone who understands the day-to-day operations of a record shop.
What we built on
Most webshop solutions are off-the-shelf software. That's comfortable, until the moment you need something the system didn't anticipate. That's why we don't build on standard software. Every RecordFlower webshop runs on Laravel: a robust framework used worldwide for high-load, professional applications. Your management environment runs on Filament, a clear dashboard designed for how vinyl sellers work, not a generic e-commerce template.
