What you need to get started with RecordFlower
The requirements to get started with RecordFlower are limited. You need no technical knowledge, no existing website and no large inventory. Here's what you do need.
Three basic requirements
- An active Discogs account with inventory. You can start with one item - there is no minimum requirement.
- A bank account for your Stripe connection. Stripe processes all payments and pays you directly into your account.
- An email address for your RecordFlower account.
Stripe verification: what to expect
Stripe requires one-time identity verification (KYC) for all sellers. You will go through this process during the onboarding of RecordFlower. What Stripe requires: a valid ID, your bank account information and your address information. The verification process takes a few minutes on average.
What you don't need
You need no technical knowledge, no server of your own, no web designer and no separate domain name - unless you want one yourself. RecordFlower provides hosting, maintenance and updates. You focus on your inventory and your customers.
