Merch, accessories and other own items in the Hub

2 min

A record shop sells more than records: tote bags, t-shirts, turntables, sleeves, gift vouchers of the shop. In the Hub those own items are an inventory source of their own, next to your records. They get an entry with your title, price, images and category, and they show up on your channels like any other stock.

Own items, fully yours

You create an item in the Hub: name, description, photos, price and stock. If an item has variants, such as size or colour, you record them per variant, each with its own stock. No catalogue is involved; you describe the item yourself.

Records no catalogue knows

The same route works for a record that no catalogue has: a private pressing, a test press, a local release. Enter it as an own item with your own title and images and it is for sale like any other copy.

Where they are sold

Own items always go to your webshop, where they get their own shop section with categories next to your records. Buyers check out records and own items in one cart. Whether an item also goes to your other channels is a choice you make per item in the Hub, not an automatic setting; marketplaces that only accept records skip it.

Stock and sales

An own item with a stock of ten is counted like any other: a sale on any channel or at the till lowers the stock everywhere, and at zero the item goes offline. Restock it and it returns.

Who is this for?

For every shop that is more than its record crates. You decide what to add: shop merch, second-hand equipment, accessories or vouchers. Own items come with the Shop and Growth plans.

One inventory, multiple channels.

No credit card needed.
