Discount codes and gift vouchers: running promotions in your own store

An own store means own promotions. With the Discount coupons add-on you issue discount codes and gift vouchers, with conditions you determine yourself.
Discount codes
You create a code in your dashboard: a percentage or a fixed amount, valid until a date you choose, optionally with a minimum order amount. The buyer enters the code at checkout and sees the discount applied immediately. In your dashboard you see how often each code has been used.
Gift vouchers
Besides discount codes, you sell or issue gift vouchers with a credit. Handy as a gift from the shop, as compensation for a delay, or as a gift voucher customers buy for each other.
Why promotions work
On a marketplace you compete on price with everyone. In your own store you reward your customers instead: a code for newsletter readers, a promotion around Record Store Day, a voucher for a loyal buyer. That builds your brand instead of the marketplace's.
The Discount coupons add-on costs € 8,00 per month, excl. VAT. You add the add-on yourself through your subscription in the dashboard.
