What to expect from the nightly sync at 00:00
Every night at midnight, RecordFlower synchronizes your Discogs inventory. What exactly happens in that synchronization, and what does it mean for your shop?
What the nightly sync does
RecordFlower retrieves your most recent Discogs inventory every night at 00:00. New items are added to your webshop. Changed prices, conditions or descriptions are updated. Items that you have removed from Discogs will disappear from your webshop. All this happens automatically, without you having to do anything.
No disruption for your buyers
The nightly synchronization runs in the background. Your shop remains accessible to buyers as usual during the synchronization process. Only the initial synchronization - when setting up your store for the first time - makes your shop temporarily invisible until all items are loaded.
Pro packages: fixed synchronization times
With the Pro/Growth package, you set fixed synchronization times at 00:00, 08:00, 13:00 and 19:00. This way, your webshop is updated several times a day - useful if you regularly add new items or adjust prices.
**What does this mean for you?
The nightly synchronization is the silent engine behind your shop. Every morning your store is up to date, without you having to look at it.
